The hotel is ideally located downtown, across from Finn Hall with a variety of restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean, although the concierge level being coed may catch you off guard with unexpected encounters. The service was exceptional, with an upgrade to the vice-presidential suite and warm, friendly, and prompt assistance, including special attention to pets. The central location allows for easy exploration of downtown without the need for a car. Dining experiences were mixed, with some limitations but above-average offerings in a relaxed environment. Overall, despite some dining issues and minor surprises in the rooms, the hotel offers great value for a convenient, comfortable stay in downtown Houston.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, despite the lack of a full-length mirror or minibar. The single King bed provided a great night's sleep, and the overall room ambiance was lovely. However, the lack of certain amenities was noticeable.
